After his standout “Brick by Brick” Jordan 4, Nigel Sylvester returns this summer with a fresh take on a fan-favorite silhouette: the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Better With Time.” This release is a spiritual successor to his 2022 Friends & Family-exclusive AJ1 High, bringing the same gritty storytelling and BMX-inspired aesthetic into a new, more wearable format.

The upper features distressed black tumbled leather, layered with pre-scuffed details and creamy, vintage-style laces. A washed red outsole adds contrast beneath a Sail midsole, continuing Sylvester’s tradition of honoring the wear-and-tear earned through bike life. Reflective 3M piping surrounds the Swoosh for a subtle pop, while custom “Bike Air” branding lands on the tongue and insole. A mini Swoosh on the toe and alternating 8/24 nods on the heel link Sylvester’s journey with the Jumpman to MJ’s own legacy.

The story extends to the packaging, which comes complete with a custom box featuring scuffs, yellowing, and a bike silhouette graphic printed on the inside lid—a collector’s touch that elevates the entire experience.

Following a Go Ride tour in NYC, Miami, and Mexico City, the hype is real. Nigel’s “Better With Time” AJ1 Low drops August 16, 2025 on SNKRS and at select Jordan retailers. We’re stoked to have it coming to Arts-Rec.
