Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard 2025 | 10-Year Anniversary Retro

In celebration of the Air Jordan 1’s 40th anniversary, Jordan Brand is bringing back a certified classic: the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shattered Backboard.” Marking its 10-year anniversary since first dropping in 2015, the iconic colorway returns with updated details and all the legacy energy sneakerheads love.

Inspired by Michael Jordan’s legendary backboard-shattering dunk during a 1985 exhibition game in Italy, this sneaker is steeped in basketball history. The bold Starfish orange, crisp Sail white, and deep black overlays mirror MJ’s Stefanel Trieste jersey and the electric moment he turned a glass backboard into shards.

This 2025 edition sticks close to the original playbook. Those distinctive orange accents, a Nike Air tongue tag, and premium tumbled leather are all present, but there are also minor changes like the shattered glass graphics on the insoles and the elegant AJ1 mold that was first seen in 2022. Even the shoebox gets a glow-up with themed artwork to commemorate the dunk that inspired it all.
